Never sell your soul for money!
Fine hotels and big cigars
Up for grabs, all for a price
Where the red hot girls keep on dancin' through the night
The claim is on you, the sights are on me
So what do you do that's guaranteed?
Hey, little girl, you want it all
The furs, the diamonds, the paintin' on the wall
Come on, come on, love me for the money
Come on, come on, listen to the money talk...."
Money cannot buy your way into heaven or if you are a very unfortunate soul, out of hell? Yet most people love the idea of getting rich.
Have you ever seen a moving company or a U-haul truck following a funeral procession? Want to know why? It’s because you can’t take anything with you when you die.
Earthly riches have no use or value to us in Heaven nor hell.
“For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and is himself destroyed or lost?
“Never dare to sell your soul for money, because no amount of wealth would buy you an air conditioner in hell.” ― Edmond Mbiaka
I see it every day, people selling their soul's for money.
I knew all about selling my soul, because I had done it many years before. During my 20s and early 30s, I jumped on every opportunity I thought would make a buck and worked with some very smart, but very unscrupulous people with the belief that the end would justify the means. I had some moderate success, but ultimately I would get royally screwed and be left holding the bag. Needless to say, the end did not justify the means. I had sold my soul for nothing.
When the shit hits the fan and you look around and realise you’ve compromised everything you held dear.
As I look around today it seems easier than ever to sell your soul. The entire ecosystem is essentially screaming the devilish message, “Join us. Sign on the dotted line, promote this, do this, go there, come here, buy this, sell that and all these riches, fame and eternal bliss can be yours.” We get promised health, prosperity and eternal bliss.
The offers are difficult to resist, but if you make a bad bargain, you may quickly find you’re no longer in control of your life. You’ll keep telling yourself that this is the road to riches or fame, and you just need to keep pushing at all costs. The end justifies the means.
NO IT WILL NOT!
We need to become people with morals, integrity, honesty and most importantly people with love.
I am 52 and have learned that life is a journey with no easy answers and no quick fixes, most of the time it is hard and not fair. Inner peace is more important than happiness because you never know what tomorrow will bring. I am very fortunate that I was given the opportunity to get my Soul back and I guard it with my life.
Be kind to one another and treat someone else like you want to be treated.
MAY WE ONLY LEAVE OUR FOOTSTEPS SO OTHERS CAN FOLLOW.
